The season ended last month and we had a banquet in the cafeteria to celebrate the season and give out awards. I tried to escape from coaching this spring but, though a head JV coach was found, an assistant coach for her was not. So… here I am again. However, the stress is nowhere as bad as it was last year. Yes, I do come home from work at 6 or 6:30pm rather than 4:30pm, but I love being outside in the afternoons on a softball field training and encouraging young athletes. ARCO ARENA – My mother and I had a blast. I secured tickets via the internet and a shady cash transaction in person. Yikes! It was an intense game with action that lasted until the final seconds.
