After taking down the basil last night, Greg and I decided it was time to take on the tomatoes. We barely got half way but managed to fill up an entire greens bin and 2 bowls full of tomatoes. Note: We’re only cutting off the tomato branches that have grown over the side of the box and are now touching the ground. What a harvest for day 1!
Well my Birthday celebration went well. It started with a fun filled flight above Davis. Jen drove me to the University Airport (K0O5) and I we went up with an instructor aboard a Cessna 172. After we cleared the pattern, the instructor handed the plane to me and I took us up over Lake Berryessa and back over Davis.
