Having just passed the 31-week mark, I went in for another ultrasound to measure the babies and check-up on their progress. Both my mother and mother-in-law went with me. They were both excited to see their future grand-babies! Elizabeth weighed 3lb 8oz and Emory weighed 3lb 4oz. The doctor said that the difference in their weight is not a problem. God is great! The pre-labor hormone test they gave me on Wednesday in the hospital came back negative. I got to go home and the twins are still developing and growing inside of me. The doctor gave me more medication to reduce my “irritable uterus” which keeps having contractions and I am on strict bed rest. However, who can complain? Early Monday afternoon I went to get an ultrasound. Immediately following that ultrasound, they had me report to Labor & Delivery at Sutter Roseville’s Family Birthing Center. Once there, they monitored the babies’ heartbeats and my contractions. Although I didn’t feel any contractions, they said I was having them and decided to keep me for 48 hours of observation.
